So my car is a 94 with a 98 bumper, which means i have the slots for the fog lights. Ive come across a set and I was just wondering if its possible to wire them up to my car. I could make a switch to go on the inside, just not sure how hard it would be to wire these up. Any help is appreciated... and these would come with the harness'es and all.

Depends on if you want to do it "by the books" or not wink.gif.

this is what you need "by the book":

relay from radioshack

^^one of those. It is best to use an inline fuse from the battery to the relay, but not nessessary. You would need wire too wink.gif

just follow the diagram, everything will work fine.

Thanks batman, i had seen that diagram before on here awhile back, i guess my only question is where to ground the wires, and then where to run all this wiring...where should i put it to make it easiest to get a switch in the cabin.

Ground the wires directly to the chassis, there are plenty of grounding points in the bay. Just make sure it is a good connection with bare metal.

For running the wires through the firewall there are 2 good places IMO.
One is were your engine harness already goes through the firewall (pass side, next to your wiper motor, behind the glove box) and the other is the rubber boot surrounding the steering column (driver's side, behind the pedals). For the column boot, just poke a hole or slit through it and push them through.

The 7AFE has so much more room to work behind the firewall then the 5SFE does. I just drilled a hole pretty much in the center of the firewall, ran wires and secured a gromet in there. Nice clean job. That was for installing my gauges, but damn, these fogs don't look to hard to hook up.
