I thought about posting it in the parts directory, but I wasn't sure if I should. Anyhow, I found it on the JUN site. Maybe you guys with a 3S-GTE might like it. Here it is. Of course, you'll have to scroll down to the 3S-GTE, as their are many other famous Japanese engines on there.

Someone posted about a shop in Chicago a while back that specializes in 3SGTE upgrades. They had a 2.2 stroker kit there as well, I'll post the site when I'm back on my PC.

i wonder what kind of power you would get with the stroker kit???? and i wonder the price too???

You would get a little more low end torque, and probably lose a little in the upper range HP. The best reason to get this stroker kit is so you can increase your boost (By a lot) and/or throw in NOS.

not just that but the extra displacement means more gases go out of the exhaust ports and through the turbo which makes for less lag, or tolerable lag on a much larger turbo. and mod for mod, 2.2l will make more hp than 2.0l -------------------- 2004 WRX

From what I've heard....You can use a 5S-FE 2.2L Crankshaft on a JDM 3S-GTE motor. All you need is the piston kit and connecting rods and bolt which will cost you around 3Gz. $ave! This post has been edited by 0Re0: Jun 11, 2003 - 5:09 AM -------------------- =( |
