Pretty interesting, it's the fastest Bio-Diesel car in the world, and it's Toyota powered.

That thing is sweet... they made a good point though. Bio diesel isn't so readily available.

Yet again the lotus Toyota combo astonishes me, If only the milage was better, and it was easier to find.
They should make a 2zz celica the same way, and sell it on the market

last time i checked, the 2zzge isnt diesel. it says bio-fuel, in this case, ethanol derived from corn. biodiesel is more similar to vegetable oils. looks sweet though!

I think Bigfoot is blurry, that's the problem. It's not the photographer's fault. Bigfoot is blurry. And that's extra scary to me, because there's a large, out-of-focus monster roaming the countryside.

Correct! Ethanol = Alcohol... 2 carbons, 1 alcohol group

Diesel = large hydrocarbons.... 10 carbons in chains and a few ring carbon structures!

massive difference.

Sorry, i just couldnt resist... Its not everyday that you actually put to use something you learn in school! tongue.gif And to add something to this discussion, so im not off topic...

Ethanol is what the formula 1 racers used in the 80's... its can be used in some pretty extreme compression cases, as pure ethanol has an octane rating of 129. I think i read somewhere it has been shown that you can run ethanol up to ~60 psi without knock ? Thats some pretty sweet stuff! Now everyone go learn organic chemistry!
