my rear left wheel (area) is leaking all my brake fluid Options

my rear left wheel is leaking all my brake fluid ive tested it twice and its only thatone and it leakes all of it out how can i fix this

first thing...the wheel doesn't leak anything, wheels are usually metal and have a rubber filled with air around them

Your brake fluid is leaking out somewhere. It's either the hard line, the rubber line or the bleeder on the caliper. Look to see exactly where it's leaking from and tell us where it's leaking. Then we can help you

obviously the wheel is not leaking it bro imeant it was comin from that area but what ever i try and see where its coming from

probably from the drum cylinders..these like to leak

use a 8mm wrench and tighten your bleeder bolt

its on your caliper, there might be a piece of rubber covering it. read the manual if needed

these pictures are from the sway bar end-link removal how-to so they aren't very specific but just so you get the idea of what your looking at and where...

when you take the wheel off look here...


you should see this...


if thats ok look here...


if thats all ok look at the back of the drum or caliper to see if its leaking from somewhere back there. I don't have a picture of the bleeder or the brake line connection to the drum or caliper. like Batman said just take a picture of where its leaking and post it up.

The leak might be coming from alot of areas, but most common is the wheel cylinder (in) the Drums, I you dont have knwledge of how it works I would advice you take it to someone who knows, it also might becoming from the feed port of the caliper and or the bleed valve.

The first thing I would do is take the wheel off to see more clear

i replaced the wheel cylinder not leaking as much but still not much stopping power wellit got dark outside so i cant see so tomarrow ill check the bolts out but one question the bolt that has tubeing on it is that supposed to tighten all the way in ?

now i got a new problem my friend showed my that the bolts on my valve cover were loose so i tightened it but i tightend it so much that when i took off the wrench the screw had gon through the bolt and this is what happend in my engine now anyone got those bolts?

take the other one off and take it somewhere and get the right one. might be a 10mm.

No the Is gas thread, meaning it is tapered, so it goesnt thighten all the way

judging by the lack of the brake lining on the left hand shoe I would say that the piston is at it's extreme travel and fluid is passing seal. clean everything and put some new shoes on then the piston will not be at the end of it's stroke.

yes, also get a new spring kit for the drum brakes and inspect the otherside as well.
