well, a lil bit ago i srarted hearing noises in the rear of my car. thought it was the E-brake pads. so i replaced them and that wasnt it. it sounds kinda like a plastic bag blowing in the wind, but when its wet out it sounds kinda like a wheel bearing at times. it dosnt do it constantly though... anyone have any idea what it could be ?

sounds like the dust shield is hitting something. try bending it back or describing it better

I had the right rear bearing go out on me. It starts out like a rubbing sound and gradually gets worse to a grinding noise. In my case, I only heard it when I turned left and put stress on the right side of the car. Eventually one day it just locked up and didn't release.

It was fairly easy for me to change...maybe an hour. I'm not too sure how hard it would be with a drum though.
