Finally got a GT4 hood, stetsonaw picked it up for me for $150.
Will be painting it soon, just seeing how it meshes with the bumper. I like the gap. Ordering a GT4 bumper when i get the money. ![]() Bought some fender vents from Autobacs, molded one on, don't like it... now i gotta paint another fender ![]() ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by Lil-Joe101: Aug 30, 2008 - 10:39 AM -------------------- From Japan to Texas my st202 follows me.

Bahh, it looks sweet like that.
Of course, some paint on the hood is needed... ![]() But seriously... Looks great. Good combo methinks! Love the color as well! ![]() -------------------- digitalctrl

I agree [Of course] - I think the hood works even better with your front than a facelift bumper. I've been thinking to add a bit of molding or something to make it look less like a gap and more intentional but to be honest the only people who look at it as gap are the ones on here who know better.
I've also been told that the intake scoop from an Olds Delta 88 will fit the gap and could be routed to the intake but I'm not sure if that's something I'd like to pursue mainly because I like the airflow without having to adopt another hole in the front bumper [Not saying anything about the hole you have - it looks really good. Just not something I'm looking to do]. We all seriously need to paint our hoods tho. Sadly I'll probably be the last one to do so cause I really don't have any hookups on paint and body work besides what D-Man and I can accomplish with our limited tools. All the shops around here want to charge me $150-250 to paint the hood even tho I'll be bringing the paint. now I have splitters that need painting too so it's just gonna get more expensive. BTW - Please keep the comments clean people. We are all aware that the "gap" look isn't for everyone. We're more just discussing these two guys new hoods and some options with the gap.
