Well, i live nowhere near, but here are a few things you should do:

Here is a good site with FREE things to do (as London is very expensive) smile.gif

The galleries and museums are amazing!

It's an amazing place, when do you plan to go?

Also i'd like to go on the London Eye

Probably need more info. For instance, do you want to do the tourist thing or get off the beaten track a little?

Top tourist attractions:
* Tower bridge by night
* Houses of parliament
* Buckingham Palace. Try to see the changing of the guard: http://www.changing-the-guard.com/
* Millennium Wheel (aka London Eye) & Millennium bridge
* Shakespear's Globe Theatre is close to the Millenium Bridge: http://www.shakespeares-globe.org/
* London Underground (aka the Tube) - the World's oldest underground railway, rapid transport system and the first to operate electric trains. An excellent way to get around London. A three day Travelcard will give you unlimited journeys on the London Underground as well as busses, trams, docklands light railway (DLR), London Overground and some National Rail routes. http://www.tfl.gov.uk/tickets/faresandtickets/10628.aspx

Unfortunately, it hasn't been possible to visit either the London Stock Exchange (FTSE/LIFFE) or the London Telecom Tower (aka BT Tower, Post Office Tower) for many years although you can of course see both from the outside. The MI5 and MI6 buildings are also worth a visit. They sit almost opposite each other on either side of the Thames (Thames House on the North bank and Vauxhall Cross on the South bank respectively). MI5 is the UK's security service (as portrayed in the drama series Spooks/MI5) while MI6 is the UK's secret intelligence service (as portrayed in Ian Fleming's James Bond novels and films).

London has many really good galleries & museums including the V&A, Tate, Natural History Museum, Science Museum, Imperial War museum, London Transport Museum, Sherlock Holmes Museum, British Museum, Churchill Museum and Cabinet War Rooms and finally the Design Museum are all close to each other IIRC. http://www.londonnet.co.uk/ln/guide/about/museums.html

Thank you so much for info... since I'm big fan of James Bond or "Professionals" series MI5 and MI6 are definitely good idea smile.gif. Also that "London Eye" seems to be good idea... now I have hotel booked and everything fixed so now only hope everything goes fine smile.gif. Pity no one is around... next time I definitely visit north (Manchester)... wink.gif
