cheap in, cheap out.

be VERY weary when trying to buy a "cheap" engine.

cheap, fast, reliable.

pick 2. smile.gif

if your in japan, why not hit the local wreckers.

1200$ is gonna make it tough to find a complete setup.
im assuming your looking for a 2nd gen?

a 3rd will cost you at least that just for the motor.

btw, cheap = low priced.
i knew what you ment, its the same thing.

Yeah but u know just like do man when u think of the word cheap u think broken parts in less than an hour.

But me, 3wayStunna, and Stetsonaw have been looking and there are no gte's around here at all. the law is if u hit a local national or they hit u its automatically ur fault no matter wut so people are driving more carefully. Care drivers equal less cars in the junk yards.

Im actuall look for a 3rd or 4th gen. If its gonna be more than 1200 than oh well price is no option for power I suppose. Plus I really have to get rid of the 3sfe. IT SUCKS!!!!! LOL

Dude... You're in japan... Take that 1200 and save up just a little bit more; then use it as a down payment on a real GT4 and call it a day. rolleyes.gif No sense jankerin with everything else when you can just BAM and have the best of the best; ready for farther mod. Seriously, that'd take care of your 3s problem, set you even farther up the line with the AWD; and hook you up with the exterior mods to boot.

Yeah but heres the thing the car is already scheduled to go to the States in Feburary, and with the work I've already put into this one, lets just say I dont want to take the easy way out. I want to build something from scratch and call it my own at the end of the day. Plus with the new motor I already planned on stripping it down cleaning it, building and tunning it once its in the states and that way I truely have a car I can say I built myself. Plus the spool up sounds so sexy. hhhhhhmmmmm.

Oh yeah mainland and Okinawa are two different provinces, gt4s dont exacty drop off trees here in Oki like they do in mainland.

Again, check you're local junk yards; salvage shops, or even your local craigslist.

I understand and respect all of this - worse comes to worse you get one here in the states when you get back. That way you can spend the right amount of cash to get the right condition full clip. I've seen people buy "cheap" clips and end up needing a block anyway.
My advice - patience - it takes time to do everything correctly. wink.gif
