Hi. My name is Ken. I’ve been hanging around this site for the last year or so and thought I should introduce myself. Had a gen5 for three years which I sold in the spring of 2010, when I picked up my gen6. It’s a 94 GTS 2.2 automatic and was in amazing condition for its age. Brief history, it was owned by a partner of a local Toyota dealer who brought it in as a showroom model and kept it for 7 years. Needless to say it’s loaded the tees; abs, dual airbags, 4 wheel discs ect. I believe it has every option except leather. I am the third owner and when I purchased it, the car had been sitting in underground storage for about two years. The car had been rust proofed and hardly ever if ever winter driven. Did the mechanicals to pass local safety (tune up, pads, rotors replace all ebrake components) as it has a complete Toyota ss exhaust nothing was needed there. After getting it on the road I started the upgrades. 15% tint all around, auto start and alarm system, dark woodgrain dash kit, 7”dvd-TV-GPSs - BT deck, backup camera, three gauge pod with led backlit gauges, blue led under dash and under seat lights, blue floor mats and JDM projectors. By the fall the toy account was tapped out so I put the car away for the winter. This spring I completed the following – gt4 front conversion (with a special thanks to azian advanced) trd rain deflector, 8000k hid high and low beams, clear front turns, blue led dash and clock kit, metal door sills and jdm tails. I’m looking for some OEM side skirts, front splitters and a s2000 antenna. Not a twenty something any more so the automatic is fine. Now, had they only put a real engine in it, the car would be perfect. Thanks for reading this, will be following all your great pics, posts and projects.
