Regarding the ignition switch - is it possible to remove it without pulling the steering wheel and shaft assembly?
Can it be opened to see the contacts - it is an intermittent problem, so testing by the Toyota manual will not be conclusive? Thanks! |

yes remove the plastics around the wheel and under the gauges and you can see the ignition stalk

Which brand should I get? Does OEM make a difference in this case?
