You should get a first gen RAV4 with the manual, AWD, and 3S-GE then you can swap it to a fourth gen 3S-GTE pretty easily I'd imagine.

Very easily, makes for a fast froggy. They already use an E153 I think.

I would have never in my life thought of that project... That sounds like it would be FUN! Wonder what you could do with suspension. I'd try to get the center of gravity slammed down as much as possible.

Leave it up, go off roadin! MWR did one a number of years ago, it was pretty bad ass too and fast from a dig cause traction.
