by inexpensive u mean? like how much u willing to spend? If u dont spend a substantial amount, u wont get a substantial increase. Good places to start are CAI intake (how to is here: http://www.6gc.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=21648 that is grant it u have a GT) another thing to look into is a full exaust, from the headers back. Not that rice crap that is just the muffler/exaust tip. Full exaust, 2 -1/4 to 2-1/2 inches with high flow cat, or depending on your state, no cat, because yours is a '94 it doesn't have to abide to certain emissions. (so if u dont care about the environment, no cat, straight pipe to a high flow exaust) U'll end up making like 10hp more. (thats stretching it a little)
Those are good mods that are fairly inexpensive. Or you can go 3sgte or 5sfte.....which are expensive, but get u the biggest bang for your dollar, so to say. 3sgte (ex. Defgeph) and a well tuned 5sfte can do 200bhp (presure2) Good luck best wishes This post has been edited by defgeph: Dec 23, 2005 - 1:54 AM -------------------- ![]() Kawi Love |

I have a thread that has some useful information for you - just ignore the hostility in the thread:
easy mod thread The point I tried to make in that thread, which I still believe today, is that moding a N/A 6gc for power without the use of forced induction (or a 3sge or similar swap) is going to be very expensive in terms of horsepower gained per dollar spent. In my opinion, N/A folks are well advised to leave their drive train alone and modify other parts of their car like suspension, exterior, ICE, etc. Good luck. -------------------- QUOTE(lagos @ Jul 10, 2006 - 1:55 PM) i know your trying to do the right thing for your motor, but this is one of those times where you should just trust the guys who have had their swaps for a while and have done a ton of research into this. |

I learned a valuable piece of infomation from you in that thread, Jay. Handling over power if you're staying N/A. Which is why I bought my wide 17s and performance tires, and when I put them on I'll lower with new struts, and in the future, sway bars. -------------------- |
