top speed in a 6GC Options

yea out of curiosity whats the top speed in a celica st or a gt just wanted to know so i know what to expect when i test my car, of course on the track.

Speed indicator showed 235km/h on german highways... holy moly you can watch your fuel indicator going down

in a usdm ST, top speed is around 120mph i believe.
for the gt, its around 126-130mph, limited by gearing.

I tryed once on airfield. Reached 200km (125miles) per hr. I belive it's normal for Euro ST.

the fastest ive goen is 110 mph. on some highway. then i slowed down, due to the cop radar was flippin out

My 1996 GT says 150mph, but I've brought it to about 125mph then I slowed down due to traffic.

i have done 270 kmph with almost stock engine. topspeed depends on gearbox power and rev limit.

I've gotten up to about 123-125mph. dont think ill be doing that again.....no need to be going that fast unless its on a track with alot of road

The question is are any of you compensating for your fancy flashy rims .

I hit 122 on stock rims with 87oct in my 96GT manual. At that point it just didnt really wanna go anyfaster at any decent rate. So I coasted along it was nice.

Just like my wife. I can't even go close to 90 with her in the car but without her I have crashed head long into the speed limiter at 115 or so. I can't wait to get rid of that and try it out on the track in Washington. Just something to compare to for when I swap this one or the next one that I get.

120 for me, but hit 127 one time in the mountains coming down the mountain, got to love are handling! car responsed well, and i was in full control, wasn't scared at all, 94 st btw

how do u know its 122 and not 123 or 127 and not 128
at speeds more than 160kph /100mph its hard to keep constant attention to the the speedo to see the excact speed and more to that to slow down means u see something on the road (cop, radar, other car, tree crossing the road) so looking at the peak of the speedo is the last thing to pass ur mind

I've hit 126 in my GT on I-95, stop trying only cuz I thought my car was gonna blow up, lol.
