Well like many other O/T posts, im extremely bored and got to wondering what all the celica owners out there have owned before. I know some of you are hardcore toyota enthusiasts or anti-hondas. Just thought id put it up, not sure if this is a repost. POST PICS if ya got em!

I use to own a 1991 Chevy s10. (Parents bought it brand new back in 91) and became my "First car". It was white, and pretty much stock. I spent more time just keeping it looking new then putting in new parts. But After i saved up enough money i sold the s10 for 2k and bought my celica.

Ahhhh....boredom...isn't it great...

My first car was a 93 Ford Taurus, a hand me down from my brother that I finished driving into the ground. Next up was a 94 Ford Probe GT, that one was sold because I had no maturity for it and got into trouble. Then came a 97 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, unfortunately offroading on ice and a few other factors led to me wrecking it within a month (poor thing didn't even get the in-transits off frown.gif). Up next was a 99 Ford Explorer that I just recently traded with my brother for his....1997 Celica GT Limited Edition, WOOT WOOT smile.gif.

Insert major upgrade here:

My very first car...

1989 Toyota Corolla GTS- Never drove it.. frown.gif Car was totalled before I could drive (bought for 800)
1991 Toyota Previa LE- Learned how to drive in it.. Midship RWD! wohoo!!!
1993 Toyota Camry LE- Totalled after a couple of months having a license.. due to my own stupidity and mechanical failure
1991 Toyota Previa LE- back to the van while I was looking for another car.
1991 Toyota Celica GT Sports Coupe-Drove it exactly 9weeks, bought it for 1700 sold it for 2100 smile.gif
1984 Nissan 200SX-learned how to drive stick with it.. first clutch I screwed up.. not it has a lifetime warranty clutch from AAP
1997 Toyota Celica- YAY I switched this car after buying it for 2600 from dealership.. only to realize this is the lowest HP Ive had, lowest Redline, Steelies(all the others had alloy wheels) messed up RF fender, and NO RADIO!!! (aftermarket radio not installed properly)

Oh well.. I still have fun with it LOL, wish I had a GT so I could have swapped my Camry engine in it (Rebuilt 5SFE-bored .30 over, Late model spec pistons, 9.X to 1 CR, 3 way valve job)

lol ima make a list of cars that i remember my mom had that if she still had them i would be driving.

i remember a turboed chrystler from the 80's the neons back then lmao "it was stick too lol"

after that it was a 88 ford bronco. set on fire once lol "automatic"

she got rid of the bronco and got a 1990 honda accord DX. i woulda kept it but it didnt have power windows or locks, but the only good thing was that it was stickshift and no vtec!

after the honda she than got the 2000 RAV4, its automatic, still got it but the paint is getting oxidied or sumthin like that, when it starts peeling off

next to the RAV4 is the CELICA!!!!! lol

but yeah, lol ima put a 3sgte in both cars lmao but i wonder if it would be possible to make the rav4 awd.

but yeah, and thats it. next car might be a tacoma.

I had a '87 Nissan Stanza, then I got my Celica that I still drive today, then came the $400 '88 Celica GT which turned into my bro's first car, then came my red '88 Celica GT-S. After that came the $350 '95 ST which ended up having frame damage and turned into a parts car, and then I got another '95 ST parts car to replace several damaged pieces from my Yelli Celi vandalism incident. And finally, last fall I got a '91 Sentra SE-R for my daily driver.

My first car was a 1974 Ford F-250 with a built 460 crammed in it. Gas started getting higher, so I traded it for a 1992 VW GTi. Handled good, piss poor audio quality, and the guy I traded for it just forgot to mention that something on the thermostat broke off into the engine, it sucked. Sold it for 3100, paid for half my celica with it. I can get some pictures, but I'm at school.

First Car when i was 15 it was...

1969 Ford F-250

305 automatic with Holley Carb
Flowmaster Exhaust
5 inch lift
swampers
new paint

Then gas shot up and i got...

1995 Ford Probe GT

V6 5-speed
Custom Paint (and ugly as hell)
pretty much stock aside from the sound system

Timing threw off on it, we could never get it fixed, so i sold it and got a...

1992 Chevy Camaro RT

V8 Automatic

New Orange Paint, 17" american racing wheels

I then sold it and got...

My first celica, a 1994 GT automatic

17 inch yellow wheels (ugh)
sound system
I riced it out, because i was young and stupid and couldnt afford anything else (i even had a nitrous sticker on a n/a bone stock car...LOL)

I flipped it 3 times acting stupid and immature (hit 15 mph curve at 85 and was laid up in the hospital for a while) and got...

1995 Chevy Camaro

V6 3.4 ltr Auto.
16 inch american racing wheels
Cheap dual exhaust
Sound System (this one really thumped)
Custom painted (i was proud of the paint on it, i created the scheme myself)
tinted windows and what not

Then sold it and now have my pride and joy...

my 95 celi vert GT 5 speed.

Its been a long journey, but definately worthwhile, lol.
