What mufflers do you have? Options

So I'm just wondering what mufflers you guys are running on your cars (brand, type, size ect.) as I am trying to find one for mine. Now I already plan on getting a new header sometime this month or next and I have an after market catback but with an oem muffler on it. I really want to go for something that doesn't sound "ricey" as some would call it. I'm looking more for a deeper note where you can really here the engine (i.e not an artificial sound)

Not an issue at 70. I'm constantly doing trips from Chicago to MI and usually its only 70+. Even at 80, the car is pretty quiet.

I'm positive that with a header, 2.5" pipe, resonator and a 40 it will be louder. As of right now though, I'm perfectly content with the way it is....

i have a header, stock resonator and 2 1/2 inch pipe, magnaflow at the end and it is a bit loud. nothing major or anything but i will say it makes a nice noise, low rumble driving along and at highway speeds its not bad.

The higher the #'s go on the Flowmaster series, the quieter they are. I picked the 40 b/c I had it on a previous car when I got rid of it.

I have a 3" Magnaflow.... but I mean that's for a 3S-GTE... but man its such a beautiful sound... not too loud but most deff not quiet...

oh hey mike, they guy who did my exhaust said flowmaster inhibit the performance of the car (a little) and when there was a Dyno near him they would always send the guys over to put on a magnaflow...

Do what i did...pay a guy 20 bucks to saw off all resonators and mufflers and straight pipe that thing!

ah so I've been trying to find a muffler still and it is harder than I thought. Ive been trying to get sound clips off ebay and so forth but I cant seem to find a quiet enough muffler. I know I'm being picky trying to get performance without being loud and not expencive but there has to be something. Note I'm mainly concerned of the noise from 0-3400 rpm, after that It can be loud.

you can get free flowing oval mufflers that have a free path but are packed full of baffle.

I like it because I can take the car anywhere and there's no droning that bothers me, but then I'll get on it and it sounds like it does. Now keep in mind that this does absolutely NOTHING as far as performance, its just a small noisemaker lol

I got an 2.5" offset in-offset out muffler b/c I took these mufflers off my old ford. I would recommend the offset-offset, but you will need an adapter to size the exhaust up to the inlet for the muffler. Any good exhaust shop should be able to do this for you.

I don't plan for any performance from a muffler but I have a fairly new catback that came on the car when I got it, and my uncle has a welder so Ill just take it to his place. I think the outlet is 2" on my car so I just need to find one as close to that now

I have 2" pipe from the stock headers back, going through a stock v6 resonator and stock v6 muffler off another Toyota (92 ES300) very quiet, deep sound. feels slightly peppier during free revvs and driving.
