so i have the major parts for the auto to manual swap but now i need help
 i would love to do it myself and everything...i just dont have the experience, or man power for that matter ive gotten the ever popular "its not worth it, just buy a new car" which i choose to ignore, the "well i could do it for $2,000" which is way over my budget, and the wannabe mechanic doing work out of his garage who says "id love to try, can i give you an estimate" then never answers the phone again id trust a 6gc-er over anyone else anyway so i figured id at least ask before looking elsewhere any more i will pay, just let me know what you think is fair and i'll tell you if i can pay it please help thanks This post has been edited by hurley97: Aug 9, 2006 - 9:03 AM -------------------- |

A day late.
Sorry. But anyways, there are no TSBs on it. The only other thing I can do right now is check the p#s and see if the 96 one is revised in later models. If you still car, get me the p#. Or not.

Or not. thanks Jeremy. the one thats in my car now is p# 89661-2D450 the 97 A/T ECU (from the EPC) is p# 89661-2D870 you can check if you have time/remember... no rush, everything works
