All I know is they were female and live in Maitland (I won't post their address or name for privacy reasons), but they bought both the tails off of me and didn't need the side markers

Luckily the TRD rears are high enough not to cop any damage ATM.

Any of you guys know, if our cars have a stock location for connecting DRLs(daylight running lights)?
I've read that the Canadian version has them stock, but mine sure is not, so I'll be installing my own and looking for an easy wiring job.

Not that I'm aware of. The easiest way would be to get a 4 pin relay and inline fuse, then find a source that turns on when the car does to trigger the relay. That or run the trigger off the side-markers.

I was planning the same thing, but wanted to make sure there is not easier/OEM way to do things.
By side-markers do you mean blinkers? How would I go around wiring to them so the DRL will go on and off with the engine?

By side-markers I mean the side-marker lights.
On your car it's the small rectangular light on the fender near the door. Using the side-markers as a trigger will have the DRL go on with them. As far as turning on as soon as the car does the only thing I can think of would be to use the cig lighter as a trigger perhaps.

Hmm, I have the chance to buy a 92 Miata for $500... Seller says it ran warm one day and was told it'd needed a head gasket, kind of thinking it may just be the thermostat myself. Oddly enough they live a street across from my dad, may have to check into it... Also needs a top and some paint work, but that's not a big deal.

It is terribly tempting. I'm going to check it out though since they're literally a stones throw from my dad. Supposedly it needs a head gasket since it overheated one day going to work, but I've done some research and found overheating is somewhat of a notorious issue for them. If I can get a hold of my grandfather's compression checker I'll know for sure, but I know what to look for otherwise. Worst case scenario it's not like replacing the head gasket costs much anyhow. If the interior is in comparable shape as the exterior, jump on it. Fun, cheap, RWD, decent gas mileage. Then do an LS swap just because.
